Featuring vocalist Merry Keller, Neal Richardson on
piano, and guest cellist, Ethan Edwards, "Classical Cabaret" is a surprising mix of art song, cabaret, stage and
contemporary standards.
LOVE IN FOUR SEASONS is an intimate performance in four acts - Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall - that
will break your heart, lift you up, and make you remember everything that's true about being in love.
Following a successful debut at St. Louis' Sheldon Concert Hall
in the fall of 2009, LOVE IN FOUR SEASONS will be staged at the Belleville Philharmonic Hall, 116 North Jackson Street, Belleville,
IL, on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 8:99 PM.
Merry Keller
has developed a genre of cabaret performance that fits her own creative and artistic strengths. "Classical Cabaret"
is a style that draws on material ranging from pop rock to contemporary and classical art song. This material is showcased
in a cabaret format, inviting audience members to experience a broad spectrum of music, while feeling the special emotional
connection with the artist that typifies cabaret. Carrying the show artistically is the sense of movement and rhythm of one
season flowing into the next, with the many aspects of love as an intimate and complex companion. The audience is taken on
an emotional journey through song and bits of story, both personal and universal.
